Android Engineer (Social)

Join Robinhood as an Android Engineer on the Social team, where you'll build and improve Android experiences that engage customers in social, creator-driven, and content-rich ways. You'll work cross-functionally with Product Designers, Product Managers, Backend Developers, and the Data team, and own features from inception to design, implementation, and launch. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional Android development experience, proficiency in Kotlin or Java, and a passion for writing clean, readable, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Contribuer à la construction et à l'amélioration des expériences Android qui aident les clients à s'engager dans des moyens plus sociaux et axés sur le contenu.
• Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour expédier des expériences de bout en bout, en prenant en charge des fonctionnalités depuis l'inception jusqu'à la conception, la mise en œuvre et le lancement.
• Utiliser Kotlin, Jetpack Compose et les composants d'architecture Android pour construire des produits fluides, stables et élégants.
• Desire to improve Robinhood's app and codebase to ensure outstanding quality for our all users

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and passion for solving technical challenges
• Strong product sense and ability to collaborate with Product Managers and Designers
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred; equivalent training or work experience also acceptable
• Attention to detail, passion for writing clean, readable and maintainable code
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, and Jetpack
• 3+ years of professional Android development experience building consumer Android applications at scale, preferably in Kotlin and Compose
