Join our team as a Software Engineer in Quality Engineering, where you will be responsible for testing the development tools used to create every PlayStation game. You will develop tests for new applications and features, automate tests, investigate issues, conduct manual testing, and report test results. You will also collaborate with global teams, mentor peers, and make suggestions for improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of C++, experience in software testing, and a passion for software quality.
Responsibilities
- Developing tests for new applications, new features and regressions, and automating tests as part of our continuous integration systems.
- Collaborating with global, cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment to develop organisation-wide test strategies and infrastructure.
- Mentoring peers, sharing best practices, and influencing quality engineering approaches, while making suggestions and recommendations for improvements.
- Understanding of C++
- Experience with software build tools, issue tracking and source control systems
Requirements
- Experience in triaging bugs and creating reproducible tests
- 5+ years experience in developing tests for software applications
- A good understanding of software testing techniques
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools, LLMs, or agentic technologies to improve engineering productivity, with an understanding of how to review, validate, and apply generated output safely
- Good C# programming skills
Experience of automating tests
