Senior Cloud Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Cloud Engineer, where you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our cloud infrastructure. You will work with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Python, and will be tasked with identifying and solving complex issues, deploying and automating systems, and improving our continuous integration infrastructure. You will also provide mentorship to the cloud engineering team and collaborate with stakeholders to align our cloud strategy with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and developing optimum cloud infrastructure to ensure stability, scale, and performance.
• Deploying, automating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and constantly improving the systems that keep the backend infrastructure running smoothly.
• Architecting highly available and scalable cloud environments, and leading initiatives to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience of the cloud-native landscape. - Orchestration using k8s, observability, SecOps, etc. & observability

Requirements

• Good Database management skills. - MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, ScyllaDB, Redis, Kafka etc.
• Decent skills in configuration management/IAC tools. - Ansible and terraform
• Strong hands-on experience deploying the SaaS products across major cloud providers. Azure, & GCP (way more things beyond compute)

Strong system skills - *nix systems administration background

• The ideal candidate should be having 4-5 years of work experience
• 2+ years’ experience in one or more programming languages - Python/Java/Go/Bash
• Candidates must have current and unrestricted work authorization in the country where the role is based
