Staff Software Engineer - Payment Processing

As a Staff Software Engineer in Payment Processing, you will set the technical direction for our Gateway, Routing, and Payout platforms, ensuring the correctness and efficiency of every transaction. You will work across multiple teams, shaping architecture, raising the engineering bar, and turning complex problems into actionable designs.

Architecting high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems, defining service boundaries, data models, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Designing for resilience from first principles, including redundancy, graceful degradation, backpressure, idempotency, and recovery.
• Leading technical decisions end to end, from problem framing and design review through to production rollout, migration, and decommissioning.
