Senior Fullstack Engineer

Join EGYM as a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a mobile focus. You will be involved in all parts of the product life cycle, driving feature development, providing technical leadership, and improving platform wellness. You will create web-based user interfaces, write efficient code, and collaborate cross-functionally. You should have at least 5 years of experience in frontend development, proficiency in web technologies, and some experience with databases and backend development. Responsibilities

• Entwicklung von kundenorientierten Funktionen, von der Idee über Benutzererfahrungstests bis zur Implementierung.
• Bereitstellung technischer Führung und Richtung für das Team, Definition der Roadmap, Architektur, Prozesse und Best Practices.
• Erstellung von webbasierten Benutzeroberflächen und Tools sowie Unterstützung beim Aufbau des mobilen Frontend-Technologiestacks.

Requirements

• Web Technology Proficiency: You are a native web technologist with excellent HTML and CSS skills—complex UIs are no challenge for you—and you possess advanced TypeScript knowledge
• CI/CD Proficiency: You have experience building pipelines and a strong understanding of end-to-end continuous delivery
• Mobile PWA Enthusiast: You are passionate about building mobile progressive web apps. Experience in Ionic Framework, Ionic Portals, Capacitor, and debugging native apps is a big plus
• API integration and strategic state management expertise: You are experienced in integrating APIs, organising data into state and efficiently managing it using TanStack Query, Recoil, Jotai and any other state manager, with an understanding of the nuances of when they are needed or not
• Frontend Expertise: You have at least 5 years of hands-on experience and proficiency in frontend development and running web services
• Design System Knowledge: You have experience working with design systems like MUI or custom-built solutions as well as unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Database Experience: You have some experience working with databases, including running scripts, debugging by reviewing database structures, and hands-on experience with SQLite is a plus
• Backend Understanding: You are familiar with the Node environment and have some backend development experience—NodeJS and RESTful are a must, while Java or Golang is a plus
