Senior Engineering Manager (Security Platform)

Join Twitch as a Senior Engineering Manager for the Security Platform. In this role, you will lead a diverse team of software engineers to build critical tools and automation solutions used across the platform. You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable tooling and automation, and work with teams from across the company on Twitch-wide programs. You should have 7+ years of professional software development experience, 3+ years as an engineering manager or team lead, and a strong knowledge of AWS services and data engineering.

• Managing engineers responsible for operating the security data platform handling billions of weekly events, a multi-petabyte data lake, and numerous analysis tools.

Requirements

• Experience in leading an AI-first engineering team

7+ years of professional software development

• Experience hiring and developing remote engineers under your guidance
• Knowledge of AWS services, open source technologies, and ETL tools and data warehousing solutions
• 3+ years as an engineering manager or team lead
• Familiarity with Twitch, either as a viewer or creator (or both!)
• Experience using and managing Amazon Web Service (AWS) services
• You have made petabytes of data quick and easy to work with
• B.S. or M.S. in computer science, software engineering, or a related, technical discipline
