As a Software Engineer, you'll develop consumer-facing features across web and mobile, create backend services, and maintain those systems. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, technical leads, and other engineers to design, develop, launch, and operate interactive experiences and products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, launch, and operate interactive experiences and products for viewers.
  • Develop and maintain consumer-facing features across web and mobile platforms, including backend services.
  • Utilize AWS technologies and modern programming languages to build software and services that drive business impact.
  • Experience with languages and frameworks used at Twitch, including React, TypeScript, and Go

Requirements

  • Experience building software and services using AWS technologies such as ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions
  • Experience developing software in a professional environment
  • Proficient coding skills in modern languages and frameworks such as Go, React, Kotlin, Swift, and Objective-C
  • Prior experience building consumer-facing products at scale
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to think through and deliver quality user experiences

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Twitch, gaming, and/or streaming on Twitch
