FP&A Manager

Cape, a fast-growing technology company, as our first FP&A Manager. In this role, you will build and scale the company's financial forecasting, planning, and reporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• You will partner with leadership to create annual budgets, maintain monthly forecasts, and own monthly budget-vs-actuals analysis.
• You will also define and track KPIs, assist in preparing board materials and investor updates, and serve as an embedded finance partner to leaders.
• Collaborate with leadership to build annual budgets and maintain an up-to-date monthly forecast.
• Own monthly budget-vs-actuals and variance analysis in partnership with accounting, while reporting on monthly outlook v. forecast.
• Define and track KPIs; build dashboards for real-time visibility into business performance to ensure leadership is working from a shared set of numbers.
• Ownership mentality and bias toward building/automating rather than manual process

Requirements

• The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in corporate finance, strong financial modeling skills, and excellent communication abilities.

• Advanced financial modeling (from scratch, not just template-editing); strong Excel/Google Sheets required, SQL strongly preferred
• Strong business-partnering instincts - translating numbers into narratives, influencing without authority
• 4+ years in corporate finance, BizOps investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with at least 2 years at a technology company
• Track record owning a planning cycle and partnering with senior/executive stakeholders
• Excellent written/verbal communication, especially tailoring messages for executive audiences

Pay

USD 180,000 - 220,000
