Engineering Manager (Mobile)

Join Replit as an Engineering Manager, Mobile. In this role, you will lead a team that bridges design and engineering to create intuitive mobile interfaces. You will define the technical vision for mobile design systems, partner with design and product teams, and oversee the architecture of complex mobile UI components. Responsibilities

• Deep technical background with mobile development, including experience with some of the following: mobile-specific web APIs, native mobile development (Swift/Kotlin), React and React Native (or similar cross-platform frameworks), PWAs, mobile design patterns, and complex UI animations and gesture-based interactions
• Active Replit mobile user passionate about accessible software creation, with experience building or leading mobile design or developer tools teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams, plus proven experience building production frameworks and component systems that scale across products
• Excellent communication skills to balance technical leadership with people management, including mentoring, performance management, and career development
• Interest in AI on mobile devices and contributions to open-source mobile design systems or UI libraries
