About Robinhood

As a Software Engineer (Web3 Backend), you will build and own backend services, infrastructure, and data systems that support our next-generation crypto, web3, and wallet offerings. You will develop innovative solutions to deliver a best-in-class trading experience for cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets, while solving complex scalability and correctness challenges.

Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services and infrastructure across Robinhood Wallet, Tokenization, and Web3 platform systems, with correctness and auditability as hard requirements.

Collaborate closely with product, compliance, client, platform teams, and external partners to deliver impactful technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build the connective tissue between traditional market infrastructure (brokerage, ledgers, corporate actions) and on-chain systems, including smart contract integrations, chain indexers, and DEX trade flows.

Requirements

Sharp problem-solvers

  • Proven ability to simplify complex problems, make sound tradeoffs, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders
  • Strong grasp of system design, data modeling, and software engineering fundamentals
  • Strong ownership mindset, with a track record of delivering high-quality projects end to end in cross-functional environments and raising team-wide technical standards
  • 2+ years of experience in software development
  • Expertise in backend development using languages such as Go, Python, or Java, with a solid grasp of cloud-native architectures
