Content Creator

Join Matic as a Content Creator and bring our story to life through engaging video and photography. You'll be responsible for shooting and editing social-first videos for various digital channels, capturing professional product and lifestyle photography, and owning projects from capture to final edit. You'll also contribute creative ideas and collaborate with the team. A portfolio showcasing your video and photography work is required.

Responsibilities

• Capturer et monter des vidéos et des photographies de haute qualité pour les réseaux sociaux et d'autres canaux numériques.

Sound design and color correction fundamentals

• Strong editing fundamentals: excellent short-form, vertical video editing with strong pacing and visual storytelling
• Fast execution: ability to move from idea to finished piece without sacrificing taste
• Collaborative mindset: you can take feedback, iterate, and create without needing constant direction
• Comfort working with and directing talent: ability to conduct interviews, guide people on camera, and capture authentic talking heads and performance-based content
• A portfolio is required: submit a portfolio featuring social-first video and photography, with a brief description of your contribution to each project

Requirements

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (demonstrated fluency across multiple projects)
• Motion graphics experience: demonstrated ability to animate type, create graphics, and compose visual treatments in After Effects
• 2+ years of hands-on experience creating and editing video content (school projects, personal work, freelance gigs, internships—we don’t care where it comes from, your portfolio does the talking)
• Shooting and composition skills: clean product, lifestyle, and BTS photography with strong framing
• Familiarity with AI video production workflows: comfortable experimenting with AI tools for asset creation, editing assistance, and visual storytelling
• Lighting fundamentals beyond basic setups
• Understanding of performance creative and paid social metrics
• Familiarity with Figma
• YouTube editing or longer-form storytelling experience

Preferred

• Studio or product photography experience
• Interest in consumer tech, hardware, or product-driven companies
