(Senior) Full Stack Engineer

Join Akash, a leading decentralized cloud computing platform, as a (Senior) Full Stack Engineer. In this role, you will develop frontend and backend features for Akash Console, AkashML, and Akash Homenode. You will also build and maintain public APIs and SDKs for partners, work on automated tests and CI/CD automation, and interface with customers looking to integrate with Akash. Additionally, you will participate in technical discussions on public community forums and identify areas of improvement within the engineering organization.

Develop frontend and backend features for Akash Console, AkashML, and Akash Homenode, and maintain public APIs and SDKs.

Responsibilities

• Work on automated tests and build (CI/CD) automation, and interface with customers looking to integrate with Akash.
• Participate in technical discussions on public community forums and identify areas of improvement in terms of issues/bugs.

Requirements

Experience with common cloud services, databases

• Ability to work independently, take initiative when necessary and have a sense of ownership
• Experience setting up and working with CI/CD tooling such as Github actions and Docker/ Containers/ Microservices
• 5+ years of experience with postgres or similar SQL databases. Need to be an expert level SQL query developer
• 8+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience working with Open Source tooling and building or contributing to open source software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 5+ years of experience working with Javascript, Typescript & React & Next.js
• Passion for automation and coding best practices
• Experience building developer tools

Preferred

• Huge bonus if you are familiar with Akash or have used it
• Experience or familiarity with blockchains and crypto
• Experience working for a cloud service provider
