Responsibilities

• Are you passionate about discovering and developing innovative ways to solve difficult business problems?

We are looking for someone who can

• Build and maintain modern applications using Python, Django Framework, React , TypeScript ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Design, Develop and maintain containerized cloud solutions with Containerization engines like Docker, Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Services
• Apply best practices for security, including role-based access controls and encryption.
• Adapt and learn to work with new technologies.
• Manage code changes using version control systems like Gitlab.
• Work as part of a Scrum team to develop and maintain complex data-intensive applications.
• Work across geographies with a diverse software development team.
• Evaluate system architecture to pinpoint bottlenecks and inefficiencies and fix them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, QA, and DevOps engineers
• Mentor and support junior members of the team as required
• Write detailed documentation and ensure relevance.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in programming and maintaining full stack application solutions.
• Strong proficiency with Python, Django Framework, FastAPI, React, TypeScript technologies.
• Strong proficiency and proven experience working with any of the Cloud Providers like Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Strong proficiency with Postgres, Redis or other relational and non-relational database technologies.
• Proven experience working with multi-mode data delivery such as API’s, events and file shares.
• Strong understanding and experience with implementing design and Architectural principles like OOP, SOLID, Microservices, Event streaming, Messaging etc.
• Implement meaningful unit, integration and functional tests to verify the functionality of software.
• Experience working on cloud native applications development.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to deliver value-added solutions.
• Commitment to client satisfaction serving as an advocate for our users.

Preferred

• Preferably experience working in, building for, and managing Kubernetes clusters and deployments using Helm charts .
• Experience working on large scale Enterprise applications is preferred.

• Reports To: Vice President Department: Investment Research Location : New York City – Hybrid (3 days in office)
• This is a hybrid-working role requiring 3 days in office.
