Responsibilities

  • Meet the Challenge We are looking for an experienced Integrated Management Systems Engineer to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety and Energy Management requirements while supporting operational excellence throughout the organization.
  • The selected candidate will work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, Human Resources, EHS, IT, and other departments to support compliance, certification readiness, risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • In this position, you will help enhance Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) outcomes in your area of responsibility while supporting a culture centered on HSE.
  • Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice.
  • You will also showcase your ability by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.
  • This is a leadership position responsible for ensuring legal compliance, protecting our employees, and promoting safe manufacturing practices across the plant.
  • The role partners closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and EHS to guarantee that safety is built into every stage of our operations.
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO22301 and other requirements.
  • Coordinate and support internal audits, external audits, certification audits, customer audits, and supplier assessments.
  • Manage corrective and preventive action processes, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support management reviews, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain management system procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
  • Conduct employee training and awareness programs related to management systems.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to promote operational excellence and risk management.
  • Support sustainability, environmental, occupational and safety initiatives.
  • Solid auditing and compliance management skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing Integrated Management Systems in the industry.
  • ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO22301, ESR Experience coordinating certification and customer audits.
  • Experience leading corrective actions and continuous improvement projects.
  • Solid knowledge of industry requirements.
  • Risk assessment and root cause analysis.
  • Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead projects across multiple functions.
  • Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
