Responsibilities

• Lead ProdOps Engineer, you will provide hands-on technical leadership for the reliability, availability, and operational health of our production SaaS platforms. You will lead complex production incidents, drive automation and platform improvements, and help evolve Production Operations towards a more proactive and engineering-driven operating model.

• Provide technical guidance to the 24/7 Production Operations team, with flexibility to support critical incidents outside regular working hours when required.
• production patching and platform lifecycle activities, including Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, and AKS upgrades and security patching.
• Automate repetitive operational activities using
• Python, Bash, Go, Terraform, CI/CD, and GitOps

Leverage

• AI and Generative AI tools for troubleshooting, log and alert analysis, automation, knowledge retrieval, and proactive issue identification.
• monitoring, observability, and alert quality, including reducing noisy, duplicate, obsolete, and non-actionable alerts.
• Drive improvements in
• MTTA, MTTR, incident prevention, and production reliability
• Lead and contribute to

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

• and turn incident learnings into automation and permanent corrective actions.
• Develop reusable operational tooling and self-service capabilities to reduce manual intervention.
• Mentor ProdOps engineers and collaborate with Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Cloud Platform, Security, and Support teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years
• 8+ years
• of experience in Production Operations, Production Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Cloud Operations, or a similar role.
• Strong experience supporting
• business-critical SaaS production environments
• Experience leading major incidents, TBs, SWARMs, war rooms, or equivalent incident-response activities

Strong hands-on experience with

• Kubernetes, Docker, and GCP/AWS/Azure, with GCP preferred.
• Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and GitOps, including tools such as ArgoCD, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Harness.
• Python, Bash, Go, or equivalent technologies
• Experience with observability technologies such as
• Practical experience using
• AI, Generative AI, or AI-assisted engineering tools for troubleshooting, automation, operational analysis, or production engineering.

Strong troubleshooting skills across

• Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, applications, databases, networking, and distributed systems
• production patching, Kubernetes/platform upgrades, RCA, and incident prevention
• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to provide technical support outside regular working hours when required for critical production incidents
