Junior Cloud Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams (DevOps, Software Engineering, QA) to build and maintain rock-solid cloud systems
  • Get hands-on with automating deployments, monitoring critical services, and solving real problems
  • Learn to configure and optimise cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure
  • Build automated CI/CD pipelines and contribute to shaping best practices
  • Take part in on-call rotation (with full training) — gain real incident management experience
  • Set up observability tools and help detect and resolve issues fast
  • Document processes and share knowledge with your team, contributing to a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration.

Your Skills, Experience and More

  • A passion for learning new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to clearly convey ideas and listen effectively.
  • Curiosity about cloud technologies and how systems work.
  • Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services (EC2, S3, Azure VMs, Azure Storage, etc.) is a bonus, but not required.
  • A solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing) and system administration (Linux/Windows).
  • Some scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
