Responsibilities

Receiving & Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries, ensuring shipments match purchase orders and packing documentation.
  • Accurately, label, store, and organize materials within designated warehouse locations.
  • Execute inventory transactions and

  • inventory records within company systems.
  • Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits to
  • maintain
  • inventory accuracy.
  • Assist
  • with inventory reconciliation activities and annual physical inventories.
  • Production Support
  • Pick, stage, and issue materials to support production schedules and manufacturing operations.
  • Process material movements, transfers, and returns while
  • maintaining
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to resolve material shortages and inventory discrepancies.
  • Shipping & Logistics
  • Process domestic and international customer shipments

in accordance with

  • shipping procedures.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate shipments with carriers and transportation providers.

Support material transfers between

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe manner.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety requirements.
  • Ensure adequate levels of cleanroom and operational supplies are
  • maintained
  • and submit replenishment requests as needed.

  • with warehouse improvements, storage rack assembly, and continuous improvement projects.

Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting warehouse, inventory control, and material movement activities that ensure the timely and accurate flow of materials throughout

Calyxo's operations. This role supports manufacturing, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and logistics activities while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with company quality standards. The Material Handler works closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchasing teams to ensure materials are available to support production schedules and customer fulfillment requirements

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years experience

CA driver’s license and safe driving record

  • Ability to read, write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials with pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software.

Work location: Pleasanton, CA

  • Work 8 am – 5 pm, and occasional overtime and weekends when necessary.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Compliance with relevant county, state, and Federal rules regarding vaccinations.
