Security Officer for HOA Neighborhood with Patrol Vehicle

Job Description

As a

Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc.

Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers will do hourly patrols through out the neighborhood, ensure there are no trespassers, and prevent any misconduct on site. Continuous responses to community members when needed, and clearing of park premises after hours.

Shifts

  • Friday - - - 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM
  • Saturday - - - 9:00 PM - 5:00 PM
  • 16 Hours per week guaranteed, plus opportunity for additional hours!

Compensation

$21.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
  • Security Guard

Qualifications

  • Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
  • Current with BSIS Compliance i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate

32-hour continuing education certificates

  • Clean driving record and ability to operate company/site vehicles safely.
  • Experience working graveyard shifts.
  • Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
