Responsibilities

• Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers are responsible for conducting hourly tours, ensuring the premises is secure. Access control when checking in and out guests to property, and checking all entrances and exits.

Check ID's of all incoming patrons

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

Requirements

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
• Current with BSIS Compliance
• i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate

32-hour continuing education certificates

• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Grave yard shift experience ability to stay vigilant during night shifts.
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
