Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Utilize a forklift to load and unload pallets to and from trailers as well as move pallets to correct locations throughout the warehouse that meet company and safety standards.
• Move levers and press pedals to drive the truck and control movement of the lifting apparatus.
• Pull and prepare pallets for shipment as scheduled.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Unload and load shipments safely.
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.

Duties Include

• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
• Forklift candidates must present an OSHA Forklift training certification before the extension of a job offer.
• Protection Equipment (PPE) at all times while performing job duties.
• Move, stack, and store pallets efficiently in the appropriate areas as required.
