About the Role

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for maintaining and supporting distributed SCADA systems built on

AVEVA System Platform

  • across multiple tunnel sites. You’ll help ensure continuity, stability, and compliance—directly contributing to the safe and seamless operation of one of Qatar’s key infrastructure networks.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for SCADA nodes and control rooms.
  • Troubleshoot software, communication, alarm, and system performance issues.
  • Handle system patching, backups, redundancy checks, and failover testing.
  • Monitor historian data, alarms, system integrations, and overall SCADA health.
  • Maintain logs, RCA reports, maintenance documentation, and change records.
  • Work closely with OEMs, consultants, and internal teams for improvements and escalations.
  • Support activities related to cybersecurity, asset lifecycle, and system upgrades.

What You’ll Bring

5–6 years of hands-on SCADA maintenance experience (infrastructure/utilities experience is a plus).

Strong knowledge of

AVEVA System Platform

  • , Intouch/OMI, Historian & Galaxy Repository.
  • Familiarity with PLCs — Schneider, Siemens, or Rockwell.
  • Good understanding of OPC UA/DA, industrial networking, redundancy, and remote architectures.
  • Solid troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills.

Qatar driving license is a plus

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • AVEVA System Platform certification is highly preferred.
  • Networking or cybersecurity certifications are an added advantage
