Deliver on-site technical services to Algosystems’ customers, including equipment installations, replacements, maintenance, basic configuration and troubleshooting across network and IT infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

  • The role works closely with Network Support, Engineering and IT teams to ensure effective service delivery and timely resolution of technical issues Reporting to the Field Services Supervisor.
  • Perform on-site installations, replacements, de-installations and maintenance of network and IT infrastructure equipment.
  • Provide first-level on-site troubleshooting and technical support, coordinating with internal technical teams and escalating complex issues when required.
  • Perform equipment staging, basic configuration, commissioning and connectivity testing for network devices, servers, workstations and related infrastructure.
  • Support basic IT activities, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting of laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals and standard software.
  • Conduct site surveys, infrastructure inspections and basic technical assessments to support customer installations and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with NOC, Network Support, Engineering and IT teams during incidents, deployments, upgrades and planned maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, intervention reports, service tickets and customer equipment inventory records.
  • Coordinate equipment collection, delivery, replacement and returns with Warehouse and Logistics teams, ensuring proper equipment tracking.
  • Follow established technical procedures, customer SLAs and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree or technical education in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Networking, IT or a related discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, servers and workstations.
  • Familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet and Microsoft technologies will be considered an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and common end-user IT support activities is desirable.
  • Ability to perform basic equipment configuration, connectivity testing and troubleshooting, following technical instructions and procedures.
  • Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, with a customer-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
  • Good command of Greek and English.
  • Valid driver's license and availability for on-site work and travel when required.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in equipment installations, field support, infrastructure maintenance or technical troubleshooting will be considered an advantage.
