## Description

We are looking for a Mathematics and Science Teacher for the primary school division of an international school in Shuangliu, Chengdu. This position is available from July 2027 for the 2027/28 academic year

Job Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics and science to primary school students, developing mathematical understanding, scientific curiosity and problem-solving skills
• Plan engaging lessons and practical activities appropriate to students’ ages and learning needs
• Prepare teaching materials and assessments, monitor progress and write student reports
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop the curriculum and support learning across subjects
• Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain regular communication with parents
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

## Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related subject
• At least two years of experience as a lead classroom teacher
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in a bilingual setting preferred
