Rental Agent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Rental Agent to join our Manchester Depot. As part of our Vehicle Hire Division, you’ll be contributing to a rapidly growing operation that provides a wide range of light commercial vehicles to an impressive portfolio of clients.

Our customer base spans blue-chip corporations, public sector organisations, and medium-sized enterprises, all of whom rely on us for a dependable, flexible, and high-quality hire service. You as a Rental Agent will be the key point of contact for our clients and internal colleagues within the Depot.

In this customer-focused role, you will establish and develop new and existing business through building excellent relationships with our customers, assist with queries, offer advice, support and information, and recommend relevant company products. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT Create and maintain bookings accurately on our rental systems Answer customer calls and emails, resolving queries and recommending suitable company products Complete and file all paperwork relating to vehicle transfers, handovers and yard checks Maintain accurate records and data across multiple systems, in an office-based setting Provide professional, hospitable face-to-face service to clients on site YOUR SKILLS MATTER Essential Customer service: Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused or office-based role, handling customers by phone, email and face to face Attention to detail: A keen eye for accuracy when completing handover paperwork, rental agreements and vehicle inspections Communication: Clear, friendly and professional communication Adaptability: You work well under pressure, both independently and as part of a team Flexibility: Willingness to work a shift rotation covering branch operating hours Administrative background: A strong administrative background in an office environment Desirable Previous experience in vehicle rental or similar background Confident working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and similar systems, and comfortable learning new systems quickly Experience with booking, reservation or systems Experience managing quotes, pricing or invoicing queries WHAT WE OFFER Competitive Compensation & Financial Security Receive an attractive annual salary and a performance-based bonus.
