AI and Data Intern This role has been designated as ‘Remote/Teleworker’, which means you will primarily work from home.

As an AI & Data Intern in Madrid’s CoE, you will be working in international projects and contributing to develop, incubate, standardize, and promote AI & Data solutions globally.

During the program, you’ll be able to create and collaborate on AI & Data projects that challenge and inspire you. You will work on internal or customer-facing initiatives, with exposure to the following technical areas: Development of advanced analytics and machine learning/deep learning models

Responsibilities

• Implementation of data engineering pipelines
• Integration of AI & Data ecosystem software

Implementation of MLOps practices and tools

• FEB 2027 Responsibilities: Responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the project lifecycle.
• Understand the company's technologies in order to deliver part of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements.
• Works under supervision of technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Resolve most technical assignments or issues independently within your technical area.
• Work with team members to resolve more complex or cross-technology assignments or issues.
• Begin to proactively and reactively provide solutions to prevent problems from occurring in area of responsibility.
• Participates as part of a team and develops and grows good relationships with team members and customers in assigned projects.
• Understands the company's strategy.
• Maintain technical knowledge updated.
• Should be able to learn new technologies in a short period.

Requirements

• Is aware of knowledge tools and their application.
• Participates in chosen technical community or profession, and regularly attends profession or community of interest events.
• Enrolled full-time i n a Bachelor’s/Master’s program pursuing a degree Computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related areas of study.
• Spanish native and fluent in English.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, Java, C, Unix Shell scripting.
• Conceptual understanding of Information Technology (IT) environments.
• Passion for new and emerging AI and Data technologies, and ability to keep updated in technological innovations and new releases.
• Willingness to participate in international projects.
• Active listening skills and ability to adjust messages to audience level.
• Communicate effectively to technical level and first-level management within an organization.
• Able to communicate concepts with team and to peers.
• Problem-solving skills (proactive, reactive and creative).
• Ability to identify alternatives, set priorities, and identify solutions.
• Able to produce basic documentation to required standards.
• Demonstrates understanding of assigned discipline or technical area.
• Proactivity, initiative, willing to learn and work.
• Interest in developing a career in this environment.
• Teamwork skills.

Preferred

• Undertaking Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence or Big Data would be beneficial.
