Our client is looking for a remote Java Web Developer to join their team in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Application Development Manager, you’ll design, develop, test, and implement business-critical web applications.
• You’ll build new functionality, enhance existing applications, and help maintain reliable systems that support the business.
• This is a full-stack role with work across both front-end and back-end development.

• Develop and enhance Java web applications supporting business operations
• Build and maintain full stack application features
• Integrate applications with internal systems and external services
• Develop and maintain REST APIs
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle

Write SQL queries to support application functionality

• Work with XML, JSON, and other application data formats
• Use AI tools to support coding, testing, and debugging

Test application functionality and resolve technical issues

• Collaborate with technical teams and business partners to deliver solutions

Requirements

• Software development background in retail or e-commerce environments required
• 5+ years of full-stack Java web application development required
• Advanced SQL skills (e.g., multi-table joins, stored procedures, MERGE/UPSERT, CTEs) required
• REST API development and working knowledge of JSON data formats required

Pay

Salary: $85,000-$100,000

Typical Hours: M-F, 8 AM-5 PM; *must be able to work Eastern Time hours*
