okta

Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human

  • Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence.
  • This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk.
  • Partner Services Senior Program Manager

Okta is seeking a senior leader to define, build, and operate the global strategy and program framework for our Services Partner ecosystem.

Services Partners including global and regional systems integrators, consultancies, implementation partners, and managed service providers—play a critical role in helping customers realize value from Okta. They extend our ability to advise customers, design identity architectures, deploy and integrate Okta, drive adoption, and deliver ongoing managed services.

This role will own the strategy, architecture, and operating model for the Services Partner program. This leader will build the programs, standards, partner journeys, enablement frameworks, governance, measurement systems, and cross-functional mechanisms that help the right partners build differentiated Okta practices and deliver consistently strong customer outcomes.

This is a senior builder role. You will set the strategic direction for how Okta develops and scales its Services Partner ecosystem, while also doing the hands-on work required to make that strategy operational: defining partner tiers and requirements, launching specializations, building program processes, creating partner-facing materials, setting success metrics, and continuously improving the experience.

The ideal candidate is equally credible in an executive strategy discussion and a working session on program design. They have strong judgment about services partner ecosystems and SaaS business models, a demonstrated history of building global services programs.

What you will do

Define the Services Partner program strategy and roadmap. Set the strategic direction for Okta’s global Services Partner ecosystem, including the role of systems integrators, consultancies, implementation partners, and managed service providers. Translate company priorities, customer needs, market trends, and ecosystem gaps into a clear program vision, operating model, and phased roadmap.

Design and launch a new, differentiated Services Partner track within the overall Okta Partner program. Build the program architecture including partner segmentation, lifecycle journeys, tiers, requirements, benefits, specializations, progression criteria, governance, and partner-facing value proposition. Create a program that rewards demonstrated capability and customer outcomes.

Create the mechanisms that build partner capability and quality. Define what partner readiness, practice maturity, delivery excellence, and managed-services capability mean at Okta. In partnership with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Enablement, establish scalable pathways for onboarding, accreditation, certification, specialization, quality standards, and continuous improvement.

Drive cross-functional execution on an accelerated timeline. Lead the work from strategy through launch, coordinating senior stakeholders across Partnerships, Professional Services, Customer Success, Enablement, Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations, Finance, and Legal. Set clear milestones, ownership, decision points, risks, and launch criteria; resolve ambiguity and maintain momentum through a high-visibility transformation.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in partner programs, channel or ecosystem strategy, alliances, professional services programs, business operations, and go-to-market strategy within enterprise SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, identity, or a similarly complex technology environment.

Proven experience building or significantly redesigning a services partner program from strategy through launch and ongoing operations—including program structure, partner segmentation, value proposition, tiers, requirements, benefits, lifecycle journeys, and governance.

Deep experience working with Services Partners—such as systems integrators, consulting firms, implementation partners, advisory firms, or managed service providers—and a practical understanding of how they build profitable practices and delivery capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional program launches on tight timelines, aligning stakeholders across Partnerships, Professional Services, Customer Success, Enablement, Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations, Finance, and Legal without direct authority.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Marketing, Communications, Strategy, Operations, Technology, or a related field.

MBA or advanced degree is preferred, particularly for candidates with experience in strategy, business operations, or global partner ecosystems, but is not required.
