You are expected to understand CMOS, IC design and analog IC design tools (Cadence or Synopsys).
What you will do Your mission is to develop and release products, which are combinations of integrated circuits and plastic packages, produced and tested at high volumes at the lowest possible cost. These products meet all datasheet specifications, customer requirements, industry standards and quality requirements.
During the study, concept, design, validation and qualification phase of each project, you will contribute to a cross-functional team of design engineering, product engineering, test engineering and product quality engineer. You will drive chip design, specifications setting and verification while having the ownership of the top-level layout fit for all required packages.
As design engineer , you will make your key contributions to the design of cost-effective products by applying the most efficient way for the implementation of a set of designs within a logic family. You will develop master designs that can be configured into multiple derivative functions, sharing pin functionality and packages.
You will implement customer requirements and make sure the product will meet datasheet values. You will do full top-level verification and specification setting agreement with the product manager. Besides this you will work on: Design integrated circuits in 0.5um to 0.18um feature size CMOS and BCD wafer processes. Develop the products in a wide range of plastic packages.
Design circuits with existing circuit techniques and optimize for area. Design, optimization and simulations on block level and top level of the IC using Synopsys/Cadence tools. Achieve First Time Right designs. Top-level functional simulations, full statistical verification of building blocks and datasheet parameters. Floor-planning, layout of blocks and top-level layout and wiring diagram creation.
What you will need Master’s degree in electrical engineering Entry level experienced in circuit design and analog EDA tools and simulations techniques.
