As an AI-Native DevOps Engineer, you will build and run the infrastructure behind our satellite software and do it with AI as a core part of your workflow, not an add-on.

About endurosat

  • EnduroSat EnduroSat is a fast-growing space scale-up at the forefront of satellite innovation.
  • We build advanced software-flexible satellites for commercial, governmental, and scientific missions.
  • This is more than a job, it’s a mission.
  • We are making space universally accessible and redefining what’s possible.
  • We get things done.
  • We take ownership and work hard to make a difference.
  • We are fearless.
  • Transparency is our only way forward.
  • We address and resolve issues head-on.
  • We learn from our mistakes.
  • We deliver, take informed risks, and evolve.
  • We measure ourselves against the best version of ourselves.
  • Why EnduroSat Fast-paced, delivery-focused culture.
  • We work with well-defined quarterly objectives that help us move quickly and improve with every iteration.

Responsibilities

  • You will automate provisioning, deployments, and operations on AWS and Kubernetes using Terraform and GitOps, and you will use and build AI-driven tooling that makes our teams faster and our systems more reliable.
  • You will work closely with software development teams to keep our satellite systems secure, scalable, and observable.
  • You’ll Do Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform across AWS environments.
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI for multiple projects, with GitOps-based deployments to Kubernetes.
  • Use AI coding and automation tools (e.g., Claude Code or similar agents) daily to write, review, and debug infrastructure code, pipelines, and scripts.
  • agents or LLM-based tools that automate operational tasks such as incident triage, log analysis, runbook execution, and pipeline diagnostics.
  • Introduce and govern AI-native practices across the team: prompt and context standards for infrastructure work, review guidelines for AI-generated code, and guardrails for secrets and production access.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources and performance metrics for reliability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
  • Evaluate new AI tools and models critically, measuring their impact on delivery speed and system reliability before adopting them.
  • serving models on Kubernetes, managing GPU workloads, or running evaluation pipelines.
  • Experience building internal tools or integrations with LLM APIs (e.g., via the Model Context Protocol).
  • Observability experience (metrics, logs, tracing) and an interest in using AI to make it more actionable.
  • How to Stand Out You are open to knowledge-sharing and enjoy raising the level of the team around you.
  • You communicate clearly and have a positive attitude.
  • Tough engineering challenges and hard-core R&D. You will work on unique space technology and next-generation systems, mentored by world-recognized space experts.

Requirements

  • We Look For Must-have Strong proficiency in AWS: designing and maintaining scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deploying and scaling applications and following GitOps principles.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI.
  • Practical, daily use of AI tools in engineering work (coding agents, LLM assistants, or AI-powered automation), with a clear view of where they help and where they need human review.
  • A focus on automation and on improving system reliability through it.
  • You understand the importance of last-mile delivery: getting work safely into production, not just into a merge request.
  • You are a quick learner, proactive, and a self-starter, especially with new tools.

Preferred

  • Experience with Terraform in production environments.

Benefits

  • Constant learning and growth.
  • Own your personal development through our career progression framework and educational programs.
  • A chance to join our space educational program.
  • Meet international space experts and build your skills in a hands-on program.

You are passionate about space.
