ABOUT NEXGEN CLOUD
NexGen Cloud is a fast-growing GPU cloud and AI infrastructure business. We’re the company behind Hyperstack — a self-serve, on-demand cloud platform built for high-performance AI, HPC, and compute-heavy workloads. Powered by 100% renewable energy and NVIDIA architecture, Hyperstack gives teams from AI startups to enterprise the compute they need, without the cost or complexity of legacy cloud.
We move fast, solve hard problems, and build things that matter. If you want ownership, real impact, and a front-row seat to one of the most consequential infrastructure shifts of the decade — this is the place.
THE ROLE: IT Support Engineer
We’re hiring at a pace that has made onboarding the biggest drain on our IT team’s week. Every new starter needs a working laptop, accounts, licences and access on day one, and right now that takes far longer than it should. We need someone to own it, alongside being the first point of contact for IT across our London and Marbella offices.
This is a role for someone who takes pride in closing a ticket properly, keeps a clean record of who has access to what, and can explain a fix just as clearly to a new graduate as to our C-suite.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Rather than a checklist, here’s what success in this role actually looks like:
Every new joiner arrives to a set-up Windows or Mac device, working accounts and an IT induction on day one
Every leaver’s access is removed on their last day, with nothing left behind 1st and 2nd line requests are resolved across all offices, with every ticket tracked through to a proper close
Access is recorded and auditable, so it’s always clear who has access to what and who approved it
Devices stay patched, compliant and accurately tracked in the asset register
Run books and user guides mean routine fixes happen the same way every time, and staff can often solve problems themselves
You grow into Power Automate, building the workflows that take repetitive work off the queue for good
ABOUT YOU
We care more about how you think and work than a perfect CV. You’ll likely bring a combination of the following:
Essential
2+ years in a 1st/2nd line IT support role, including hands-on setup of Windows and Mac devices for new starters
Day-to-day experience working from a ticketing system (we use Jira, but any platform counts)
Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint and Teams
A disciplined approach to documenting access and keeping records audit-ready
Able to work from our London office on a hybrid basis
Nice to Have
Familiarity with PowerShell or Power Automate (we’ll help you build these skills)
SaaS administration experience across tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack or Zoom
Experience supporting users across more than one office or country, ideally in a scale-up
WHAT WE OFFER
Competitive salary and annual discretionary bonus scheme
Employee wellbeing benefits
25 days holiday, plus public holidays
Private Medical Insurance
Enhanced Pension Scheme
Flexible working arrangements (remote or hybrid, depending on role and location)
Real ownership and autonomy — the trust to take initiative and experiment
Visible, meaningful impact as we scale
Clear career progression in a high-growth company
A collaborative, international culture built on trust, transparency, and ownership
The chance to help shape NexGen Cloud’s team, culture, and future
WHY APPLY
We welcome applications from all backgrounds. If you enjoy solving complex infrastructure problems and want to build something meaningful at scale, we’d like to hear from you.
