Evaluate, validate, and improve the overall systems architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Own integrations across core business platforms, including Stripe, HubSpot, Hivebrite, Slack, Snowflake, AWS RDS, and other third-party applications.
Design and maintain data flows connecting operational, product, sales, and financial systems, including payment workflows and customer entitlement logic.
Build and manage data pipelines, transformations, and models covering customer, subscription, payment, revenue, engagement, and access information.
Develop and maintain the technical infrastructure supporting customer entitlements, subscription management, and access-control systems.
Support system migrations and new technology implementations, including data mapping, quality assurance, and downstream reporting assessments.
Improve data quality, freshness, observability, testing, and monitoring across integrations and data pipelines.
Document systems architecture, data definitions, source-of-truth decisions, and technical workflows.
Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly while balancing immediate business priorities with long-term architectural considerations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate combines strong engineering expertise with a practical understanding of business systems, data infrastructure, and subscription-based platforms.
7+ years of experience in systems engineering, data engineering, analytics engineering, backend engineering, or business systems engineering.
Strong hands-on Python experience building integrations, data pipelines, APIs, automations, or backend services.
Advanced SQL skills and experience working with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake.
Experience managing operational databases, including AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, or equivalent technologies.
Proven experience building and maintaining integrations with third-party SaaS platforms such as Slack, Hivebrite, Circle, or Notion.
Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, event-driven workflows, and data synchronization.
Required experience with payment systems, subscription platforms, and CRM solutions.
Experience with Stripe or the ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of its technical documentation.
Familiarity with the HubSpot API and subscription-based business models is highly preferred.
Experience developing entitlement systems, access-control logic, or subscription-based product infrastructure is a strong advantage.
Ability to incorporate automated workflows into entitlement and access-control processes.
Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills, particularly when designing scalable systems in a fast-paced environment.
Professional proficiency in English and the ability to work with US-based teams.
Must be based in Latin America and available for full-time remote work, with general availability during US Eastern business hours (9 AM–5 PM).
A dedicated home office, reliable high-speed internet connection, and suitable computer equipment are required.
