Test Engineer

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Test Engineer located in Guadalajara North. Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager , the Test Engineer’s role involves: What a typical day looks like: Directs and/or coordinate electronic technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data.
• Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
• Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
• Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages like Python Develop test plans and procedures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development, enhancements, test fixtures.
• Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities.
• Performs failure analysis on functional test failures.
• Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities.
• Develops instrument drivers.
• Leadership for managing work teams and effective communication with other departments.
• Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
• Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.
• Develop test plans and procedures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test, Designs, develops and/or supports environmental test programs, procedures and profiles Designs and/or supports mechanical/electrical interfaces for product tests.
• Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.

Requirements

• Knowledge, NI, Teststand, Labview (desirable) The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Advanced English.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred

• Experience in electronical industry (desirable).
