DevSecOps / IaC Engineer

Automate how DoD test environments get built, patched and torn down, using Terraform, Ansible and GitLab CI. You'll support a new Defense Health Agency program. This position is contingent upon contract award, and the start date will align with the program start.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code and pipeline jobs
• Build VM templates and configuration baselines
• Automate patching and STIG compliance checks
• Support environment requests from the program test teams

Requirements

• 3 or more years in DevOps, DevSecOps or systems automation Hands-on Terraform or Ansible, and a CI tool such as GitLab CI Linux administration U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and keep the background investigation DHA designates for this position DoD 8140 qualification for your work role before privileged access, or the ability to earn it within six months
• U.S. citizenship is required for the investigation this role needs.
• Zaden's FSO verifies investigation status.

Preferred

• vSphere experience
• Python or PowerShell scripting
• An active Secret clearance or higher

Pay

$112,000 to $153,000 per year.

Location

Chantilly, Virginia (Washington, D.C. area) is preferred, on site at the test center. Remote from Huntsville, Alabama, or from anywhere in the continental U.S. also works, through government-approved virtual desktop access, with trips to Chantilly when the work needs them.
