About the role We are building a regulated platform for tokenising bonds, organised as several product teams — each with its own product manager, engineers, QA and SRE. You will be the SRE embedded in one of them: owning the infrastructure, deployment pipeline and production reliability of your team's product, including the distributed-ledger infrastructure, signing infrastructure and settlement integrations it depends on — whether we end up running our own nodes or relying on a provider or the network operator. You won't be doing it alone. Alongside the SREs in the other product teams you will shape the shared standards — tooling, observability, incident process, security baseline — so that each team can ship independently while the platform runs as one financial market infrastructure. We don't expect you to have done everything below. We expect strong SRE fundamentals, and the curiosity to own the ledger and market-infrastructure side as you grow into it.

Responsibilities
- Build and ship: infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and zero-downtime deployment for your team's services — and a smart-contract release pipeline with reproducible builds, verification that deployed code matches what was audited, upgrades gated by multi-signature or four-eyes approval, and environment promotion.
- the DLT platform and its hosting model are still open.
- Help assess the options for operability — which platform, and whether we operate nodes ourselves or use node-as-a-service.
- If we run our own nodes, that means provisioning, upgrades, membership changes and peering with other participants (CSDs, banks, agents) without downtime.
- If we use a provider, it means holding them to their SLAs and keeping connectivity reliable: redundant nodes or RPC providers, fee monitoring, finality alerting.
- run the integration with the MPC custody platform and HSMs — highly available signing, no keys in CI, key ceremonies and break-glass procedures.
- ledger-aware observability (node and network health, transaction throughput and failures, on-chain/off-chain lag), SLOs and error budgets, and daily reconciliation of on-ledger positions against the legal register.
- treat bond lifecycle events — coupon payments, redemption at maturity, corporate actions — as scheduled critical events, with pre-flight checks and change freezes aligned with settlement windows and TARGET closing days.
- Write and maintain the runbooks, including token-specific ones: pausing a contract, freezing a holder on a sanctions or regulator instruction, ledger halt, and incidents on the bridge or settlement leg.
- with the security lead and your peer SREs, harden the infrastructure and meet regulatory operating requirements — DORA (incident reporting, resilience testing, third-party risk for node and RPC providers, custodian and cloud), the DLT Pilot Regime, backup and recovery of ledger state with defined RTO/RPO, EU data residency and tamper-evident audit logs.
- AIOps — anomaly detection on metrics/logs and AI-assisted alert triage.
- AI-assisted incident summarisation and post-mortem drafting.
- deploying, monitoring and reliably operating in-product AI/ML services (including rollback).
Requirements
- Infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform), containers/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Production observability and incident-response experience; SLO/error-budget practice.
- Secure, auditable infrastructure for regulated or otherwise sensitive workloads, including network segmentation for exposed services.
- Comfort working inside a product team while agreeing shared standards with peers in other teams.
- Calm under pressure, with clear runbooks and strong ownership.
- signed images, SBOMs, SLSA.
- use AI-assisted infrastructure-as-code and pipeline authoring, with review before apply.
Preferred
- Experience running, or running production services on, one or two popular blockchains, public or permissioned (e.g. Ethereum clients, Hyperledger Besu, Canton or similar).
- Familiarity with MPC / HSM signing infrastructure.
- Experience in regulated market infrastructure (CSD, clearing, payments), DORA, or the DLT Pilot Regime.
Then own whichever we choose.
A plus
Operating bridges — between chains, or between a chain and off-chain systems: relayers, reconciliation and incident response.
