[ICM] DevOps Engineer (Cloud)

Project – the aim you’ll have You will join Cloud Mind, Software Mind's cloud engineering unit, as a hands-on cloud engineer delivering client projects for international companies. Projects change over time; the current focus is an AWS-first Kubernetes platform (EKS, OpenTofu/Terraform, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, observability) with in-house AI agents for operations.

Role – how you’ll contribute

• Run and develop an AWS and Kubernetes platform (EKS, ECS, Lambda, networking, IAM) with OpenTofu/Terraform Build and maintain reusable GitLab CI/CD components with built-in security and quality gates (SonarQube, Trivy, SBOM), and GitOps deployments with ArgoCD Deploy, secure and operate AI agents for operations (Amazon Bedrock / AgentCore, MCP-based tool access)
• EKS upgrades and patching, observability and alerting, incident response, cost optimisation

Gateway API, OpenTelemetry, secrets management, runbooks

• find problems worth solving, propose improvements and own changes end-to-end
• Support GCP workloads (Landing Zone, networking, security) on other Cloud Mind projects when needed

Requirements

• Expectations – the experience you need 5+ years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud / Platform engineering experience
• Strong, production-grade AWS experience (EKS, IAM, VPC and networking, S3, RDS/Aurora or other managed services) Kubernetes and Helm in production; GitOps (ArgoCD or similar) Terraform / OpenTofu (infrastructure as code) CI/CD, preferably GitLab CI, including building reusable pipelines.

Scripting (Bash, Python) and solid

• Linux fundamentals Observability stacks (Elastic Stack, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, CloudWatch or similar)
• Understanding of AI-agentic architectures (LLM agents, Amazon Bedrock or similar) at deployment and operations level
• you propose improvements, own changes end-to-end and use AI tools responsibly, not as a substitute for experience

Excellent communication skills and fluent

• English (daily direct contact with client engineers); proficiency in Polish Additional skills – the edge you have GCP as a second cloud: Landing Zone components built with Terraform and CI/CD GCP networking: VPC, VPN, routing, DNS; hybrid connectivity (Cloud Interconnect) GCP security and compliance: IAM, organisation policies, centralised logging; regulated industries (e.g. DORA) GKE and Cloud Monitoring.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) Serverless and event-driven AWS (Lambda, ECS, EventBridge, Step Functions) Supply-chain security: SonarQube, Dependency-Track, Trivy, SBOM, Renovate Kubernetes add-ons: Karpenter, Cilium, Gateway API, External Secrets FinOps / cloud cost optimisation
