Electrical Test Engineer

You will develop automated test equipment systems, analyze test results, author and execute test plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

• Lead the development of automated test equipment systems for functional, environmental qualification, and manufacturing acceptance tests.
• Analyze test results to identify failure modes, lead root cause investigations, and drive improvements back into designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful testing campaigns and drive continuous improvement to test system infrastructure.

Requirements

• 2+ years of full cycle electronics hardware test or development experience in a professional environment
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (C, C++, Python) and ability to develop and maintain test software
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
• Ability to methodically diagnose, document, and solve electronic hardware problems

Advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering

• Familiarity with formal industry test standards such as RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-461/810, or similar
• Experience developing and simulating complex and manufacturable printed circuit board assemblies using tools such as Altium Designer and SPICE
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally across multiple organizations

Preferred

• Experience with test equipment, measurement techniques, and processes for hardware verification
