Rad Tech Student Part Time

Rad Tech Student - Radiology Part-time (20 weekly hours), second shift Job Description: Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
• Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
• All under the guidance of a Registered Radiologic Technologist.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be currently enrolled in a radiologic technology program accredited by the American Medical Association (AMA).
• Active student license through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
