CNC Machine Operator

Including the following, but not limited to: Operate CNC Equipment: Load and unload parts, operate CNC machines safely and efficiently, and maintain production flow to meet scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Monitor machine performance throughout production runs and identify potential issues related to tooling, quality, or machine operation.
• Perform routine tool changes and approved machine adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Accurately record production information, inspections, and job data within company systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and contribute ideas to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow.
• Work closely with supervisors, maintenance personnel, quality team members, and fellow operators to achieve production goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required 1-2+ years of CNC machining or CNC operation experience
• Experience working in a production manufacturing environment

Experience reading blueprints and work instructions preferred

• Ability to operate CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities

Understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred

• Familiarity with FANUC robotic systems, automated machine tending, or robotic manufacturing cells preferred
• Technical training in CNC Machining, Machine Tool Technology, or a related field is a plus
