As an Intern Developer, you will join the team behind our internal test automation platform, a team at the heart of how Tecsys catches problems before they reach customers. You’ll build features across the platform’s React front end and Python services, write and maintain automated tests, and help keep CI/CD pipelines running on every merge request. Your work helps our developers ship with confidence, so the software hospitals and distributors rely on keeps working.

Responsibilities

• You’ll join a culture driven by curiosity, continuous learning, and people who challenge what’s possible.
• Build and enhance features for our internal test automation platform, across the React front end and Python (Flask/FastAPI) backend services and APIs
• Fix bugs and refactor existing code, writing pytest unit tests alongside your changes
• Contribute to test-result reporting features such as dashboards, trends and run-to-run comparisons
• Use AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Kiro) in daily development, reviewing and testing what they produce
• Do first-pass code reviews on merge requests, and maintain CI/CD pipelines so automated tests run on every merge request
• Build and maintain automated API, UI and unit regression tests, including turning Playwright recordings into stable, maintainable UI tests
• Investigate failures, report defects with clear reproduction steps, and document features, test coverage and how to run the suites

Requirements

• You do not need to match every line below. If most of it describes you, apply:
• Final year of a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Available for a placement of at least two terms
• Solid knowledge of Python and React, with the ability to read and understand existing code
• Experience with Git and merge/pull request workflows
• Hands-on use of an AI coding assistant such as Claude Code, Kiro or Copilot
• Good attention to detail and clear written communication
• Previous co-op terms with other companies are an asset .
