Job Title – Data Scientist The Purpose of This Role The ARD AI Team is seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join a team that is focused to solve business problems in collaboration with our partners in Enterprise Technology. In this role, you will research, build, and deploy innovative AI-native solutions to create measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• You will work closely with data scientists, engineering managers, and business stakeholders to employ AI technology into scalable solutions.
• The Value You Deliver As a Data Scientist, you will leverage Machine Learning, Predictive Modeling, NLP, Generative AI, and Deep Learning to build AI-native solutions that drive business value.
• Apply customer-centric thinking to solve complex business problems through innovative, data-driven approaches.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and accelerate AI adoption across the organization.
• The Skills that are Key to this role Technical / Behavioral Hands-on experience developing and deploying Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end predictive modeling lifecycle, including EDA, feature engineering, model development, validation, experimentation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, context engineering, and LLM application development.
• Understanding of MLOps/LLMOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of AI solutions.
• Exposure to Responsible AI, model observability, and governance practices.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using tools/frameworks such as Streamlit.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience designing and orchestrating agentic AI workflows and applications.
• Ability to translate business needs into AI/ML solutions through close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for learning in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• The Skills that are Good To Have for this role Experience fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.
• Familiarity with Vector Databases, Embedding Models, and Transformer architectures.
• Experience with the LangChain ecosystem (LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith) or equivalent for building and operating AI agent solutions.
• Experience designing evaluation frameworks (Evals) for LLM and agentic AI systems.
• The Expertise We’re Looking For Bachelors/Masters degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Computational Statistics, Machine Learning or related technical fields.
• 4+ years of hands-on work experience as a data scientist developing and deploying Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI solutions.
