Responsibilities

• This role supports the maintenance team by identifying mechanical issues and assisting in equipment upkeep.
• This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision.
• Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously.
• This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large, Division / Extra Large organization.
• Perform basic maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Maintain tools and work area.
• Follow safety and maintenance procedures.
• Support senior mechanics in complex repairs.
• Keep maintenance logs and records.

Requirements

• & Qualifications May require basic vocational training (or equivalent work experience) and up to 2 years of relevant experience to carry out the role.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and tool handling.
• Ability to follow technical instructions.
• Good problem-solving and observation skills.
• Teamwork and communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
