Dump Truck Operator

Dump Truck Operator to join our operations team on a 2:1 FIFO dayshift roster. In this role, you will safely and efficiently operate a Komatsu HM460 articulated dump truck, or similar equipment, to move and rehandle material throughout the ROM and Loadout areas.

Responsibilities

• You will contribute to maintaining consistent production, supporting operational targets, and ensuring all activities are completed in line with site safety and operational requirements.
• Operate Komatsu HM460 or similar articulated dump trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures.
• Move pre and post crushed material to designated stockpiles as per the rehandle / loadout instruction ensuring stockpile segregation Conduct pre‑start checks, monitor machine performance, and report defects promptly.
• Keep machine cabs clean and tidy Follow all site safety policies and procedures, maintain situational awareness, and operate equipment within safe limits.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, loader operators, road train operators, ROM operators, and any other personnel or equipment in the work area
• Carry out other tasks such as site signage and delineation maintenance as required

Requirements

• To be successful in this role, you will have: Current Western Australian HR or C Class Driver's Licence (manual preferred)
• Previous experience operating Komatsu HM460 articulated dump trucks or similar equipment in a mining or bulk materials environment.
• A strong commitment to safe work practices, hazard identification, and risk management.
• The ability to work safely and efficiently in an active open pit mining operation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective two-way radio communication.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a production-focused team.
• A reliable work ethic with the ability to follow site procedures and maintain high operational standards.
