A Research Associate position is available in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Conduct wave flume tests and develop numerical/analytical models of floating structures.
- Prepare project reports and publish scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Assist the PI in preparing research proposals and supervising research students.
Requirements
- The successful candidate will work on research related to the hydrodynamic behavior of floating structures.
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Research experience in hydrodynamics and structural dynamics.
- Strong publication record in relevant research areas.
- Effective writing and communication skills.
- Experience in supervising research students and preparing research proposals will be an advantage.
