Graduate DevOps Software Engineer 2027

Graphcore as a Graduate DevOps Software Engineer and help develop and maintain tools for software builds and releases.

This two-year program offers practical experience in continuous integration and deployment, cloud infrastructure, containerization, build engineering and release systems, and machine learning operations.

Responsibilities

• You'll deploy services using Kubernetes and Docker, support cloud infrastructure managed through tools like Terraform, and work closely with teams developing Graphcore's machine learning software stack.
• Contribuer au développement et à la maintenance des outils pour les builds et les releases de logiciels, en utilisant des technologies telles que Kubernetes et Docker.
• Collaborer avec les équipes de développement pour automatiser les tâches répétitives et améliorer les workflows des ingénieurs.
• Acquérir une expérience pratique dans l'intégration continue et le déploiement, l'infrastructure cloud, la conteneurisation, l'ingénierie de build et les systèmes de release.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Python, Go, C++ or a similar programming language
• An understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), with the communication skills to explain your work and collaborate with others

Experience developing or managing systems in Linux environments

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Maths, Machine Learning, Data Science or a related field
• You can demonstrate these skills through coursework, a dissertation, personal or team projects, research, or other relevant experience. Tell us what you built or investigated, how you approached it and what you learned

Preferred

• Exposure or experience in Kubernetes, OpenStack, infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu, GitHub Actions, build tools, high-performance computing (HPC), Grafana or cloud services such as AWS would be useful. These are additional strengths, rather than essential requirements
