Senior Full Stack Engineer (Customer Service)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Customer Success and Engineering teams to identify and address customer pain points, and improve internal tools and systems.
• Design, maintain, and implement robust APIs, integrate with third parties, and streamline customer workflows.
• Lead projects end to end, from implementation to testing and maintenance, ensuring reliable backend services.
• You know how to design and maintain robust APIs, integrate with third parties, streamline a customer workflow, and track down a pernicious bug
• You’re a first-rate communicator in both code and human language, contributing to deep technical discussions across team and tech stack boundaries
• You work closely with non-technical stakeholders to design and build features that make customers’ eyes light up and keep our bootstrapped business humming

Requirements

• You have a track record of implementing, testing, and maintaining reliable backend services, as well as owning projects end to end
• 6+ years of experience with our stack (Ruby on Rails, Typescript, React/React Native)
• You’re great at figuring out how systems can work better and love having the autonomy to leave things better than you found them
• You’re passionate about improving the customer experience in ways big and small, whether that’s by fixing a bug or overhauling an entire flow
