You will work closely with the team onsite to understand the various use cases of the product and take full responsibility for major features. The role requires a strong technical vision, a passion for crafting software solutions, and a desire to own large portions of the application from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the deployment team and users to iterate and solve problems, ensuring that the solutions are empathetic and user-centered.
  • Take full responsibility for major features, driving them to completion while working closely with other engineers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Craft powerful, intuitive user experiences powered by generative AI, unlocking new ways for users to interact with the platform.
  • Knowledge of how to train, deploy, integrate, and monitor machine learning models

Requirements

  • Thrive on ambiguity and love taking on hard problems
  • Excellent technical vision with the ability to synthesize product requests into strong and reliable software components
  • Passion for crafting and shipping software solutions that delight users
  • Understanding of best practices for using generative AI responsibly, with bonus experience applying LLMs to enhance user experience
  • Experience shipping and iterating on production-grade software components professionally and / or in the open-source community
  • Strong best practices in modern software development and comfort navigating large codebases
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Located in NYC and open to working in office
  • Over 8 years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams
  • Ability to write robust, well tested, and well-designed code that frequently gets deployed to users
