Security Engineer (Device/Hardware)

Join our Product Security Team as a Security Engineer specializing in Hardware Security. In this strategic and technical role, you will work closely with engineering and hardware teams to ensure secure product design and implementation. You will lead hardware security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and security testing, while also defining and reviewing security requirements for hardware platforms and embedded systems. This position requires a strong background in hardware security, cloud security, and programming languages such as Python and C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering and Hardware teams to conduct design reviews, threat modeling, and build secure components.
• Drive relationships with hardware engineering teams to ensure security findings are prioritized, validated, and remediated.
• Lead hardware security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and security testing for product systems.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, reviewing, and validating security controls for hardware and low-level system architectures
• Strong understanding of hardware root of trust, secure boot, attestation, key protection, device identity, and secure provisioning concepts

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in working with product teams creating security designs and providing security requirements
• Experience in cloud security, runtime security, supply chain security, and application security best practices
• 5+ years years of experience in Hardware Security, including creating security by design patterns into new devices and platforms
• 5+ years of hands on development experience in the programming languages like python and C/C++
