Staff Technical Lead Manager (Pullover Manuevers)

As a Staff Technical Lead Manager, you will be responsible for perfecting how our fully autonomous car executes pullovers, improving key driving scenarios like passenger pick-ups and drop-offs, parking, and deliveries. You will work closely with Technical Leads and Technical Lead Managers to design and implement solutions, build quantitative evaluation techniques, and provide mentorship for junior engineers. Responsibilities

• Collaborer avec les responsables techniques pour concevoir et mettre en œuvre des solutions horizontales pour résoudre les comportements de conduite.
• Construire des techniques d'évaluation quantitatives de la performance sur route pour guider le développement basé sur les données.
• Fournir un mentorat aux ingénieurs juniors de l'équipe et contribuer à résoudre des situations de conduite difficiles.

Requirements

• PhD, Masters, or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics
• Two or more years of management experience
• Experience with working and solving design problems that span multiple components

Ability to collaborate within and across teams

• High quality API design with an eye towards evaluation and data-driven techniques
• Evaluation experience, contributing to scalable eval workflows and building metrics for ML models and analyzing large datasets
• 8+ years of Software Engineering experience in complex systems
• AV or Robotics experience
• Coding proficiency in C++, Python, and SQL

Preferred

• Experience with Machine Learning models in production systems
