Adyen, a leading global payment company, as a Technical Program Manager (Hardware). In this role, you will be responsible for bringing new hardware to market, overseeing the New Terminal Introduction (NTI) Program, and driving alignment across multiple internal teams. You will also identify and resolve technical, compliance, and logistical risks, improve the NTI process, and coordinate legacy-system deprecation and upgrade milestones.

About Adyen

A systems thinker with strong judgment. You synthesize dependencies and trade-offs across teams into one roadmap, and know when to decide versus escalate fast

Responsibilities

  • This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of physical-product complexity and payments, and to make a significant impact on the company's success.
  • Drive the New Terminal Introduction (NTI) Program, ensuring full product readiness for new device launches and rollouts.
  • Oversee and drive alignment across multiple internal teams, identifying and managing dependencies that individual product teams might overlook.
  • Identify and resolve technical, compliance, and logistical risks early, especially external dependencies, before they threaten a launch date.
  • Someone who uses data to drive alignment, not just report it. You've built and run RAID logs and program dashboards to keep cross-functional teams moving in the same direction

Requirements

  • Experienced launching complex physical products at scale, across suppliers, supply chain, and multi-stakeholder organizations. This matters more than payments-specific background: 5-7 years in fintech, payments, or hardware tech is a plus, but proven skill with physical-product launches is what counts most
  • A genuine problem-solver. Comfortable with curveballs; you push people toward decisions rather than just documenting dependencies
  • Technically fluent enough to move independently. Functional understanding of POS terminal architecture and Terminal Management Systems (or the equivalent), enough to make calls without needing a specialist for every decision
