Join Q-CTRL, a leading quantum technology company, as a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer. In this role, you will support our Kubernetes-based SaaS platform, hardware division, and embedded deployments. You will build infrastructure across diverse workloads, ensuring our processes are fully code-driven, automated, and optimized. You will collaborate closely with our team in Sydney, Australia, and drive continuous improvement through Infrastructure as Code and a strong DevOps culture.

Responsibilities

  • Contribuer à la construction d'une infrastructure fiable, sécurisée et maintenable pour soutenir la plateforme SaaS basée sur Kubernetes.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de recherche et d'ingénierie basées aux États-Unis, en rédigeant des propositions techniques claires et en alignant les efforts avec l'équipe de Sydney.
  • Développer le support de la chaîne d'outils, y compris les pipelines CI/CD, les opérateurs tels que ceux pour GitOps, et l'automatisation du déploiement d'Infrastructure as Code.
  • Expert knowledge of public clouds using Infrastructure as Code to build intuitive, self-service golden paths that enable engineering teams to ship safely and autonomously
  • A pragmatic approach to system design that balances curiosity with maintainability, choosing simple, sustainable patterns that keep long-term operational debt low

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience running Kubernetes in production and deep familiarity with everything needed to provision production-grade clusters
  • Proficiency in software development (primarily Go and Python) with the ability to quickly understand application behavior from codebases with minimal context
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of Linux distributions and strong system-level troubleshooting skills
  • Relevant Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS
  • Relevant public cloud certifications such as AWS SAA/SAP or GCP ACE/PCA
  • Experience using GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux CD

Preferred

  • Familiarity with the CNCF and its various projects
